邢建民，男，1967年12月生。1989年畢業於山東大學微生物系，1992年在該校獲碩士學位，1992-1995年在華北製藥廠工作，1995-1998年在中科院化工冶金研究所（2001年改名為過程工程研究所）攻讀博士學位，1998-2000年在中科院動物所進行博士後研究工作。2000年起，在中科院過程工程研究所工作；2000年11月，副研究員；2005年在德國卡爾斯魯厄研究中心技術化學研究所做高級訪問學者；2006年8月，博士生導師；2008年5月，研究員。研究方向為生物催化與代謝工程，主要研究生物催化劑的定向進化和代謝工程，生物催化過程調控及套用。開展了生物質高值化轉化生產有機酸的多菌種聯產、代謝工程、發酵分離耦合研究，石油微生物脫硫、脫氮的套用基礎和工程化研究。提出了磁性固定化細胞柴油脫硫新技術，並將微生物脫硫過程與吸附脫硫的化工單元操作有機整合，發展了新的脫硫工藝。負責多項國家863、973、自然科學基金、中科院知識創新工程項目，以及企業合作項目等。在Appl Environ Microb、Biophys J、AIChE J、中國科學等期刊上發表SCI索引論文40多篇。
