研究方向為油氣地球化學，油氣成藏，盆地模擬以及資源評價。導師：何生教授碩士論文《泌陽凹陷核桃園組烴源岩地化特徵及熱演化模擬》
研究方向主攻頁岩儲層，層序分析，地球化學特徵以及資源評價，師從頁岩氣專家Nick Harris教授，博士論文為《Geochemical, petrophysical and geomechanical properties of stratigraphic sequences in Horn River shale, Middle and Upper Devonian, Northeastern British Columbia, Canada》
開展加拿大西部盆地Horn River Group shale和Duvernay shale的成岩作用及其對頁岩儲層岩石物性的影響研究。
