Upon entering, the small stream, the green pots, the leisure chair, the lotus, all become part of the Oriental courtyard.
In the living room, people can gleamingly see the study in the second floor under the yellow chanderlier, full of book sand luxury. The study is also like a viewing deck where people can see the living room to appreciate the layout and items.
Walking over the lobby, there is a dining room which is a multi-functional space integrating dining room, kitchen and bararea. The designer breaks through the three spaces of the original architecture to divide the area reasonably. The center is a dining area with bar area and kitchen beside. There is an buffet between the sliding doors in the kitchen. The bar echoes with the kitchen, and the kinetonema is designed on both sides of the bars, which not only conforms to the eastern symmetry rule, but also is western life style.
To show the Thai feature, the space includes the table and chair combining the Thai design element with European style. The whole collocation, no matter the hard surfaces or the soft installations, every decoration, talk with each other.

As the symbol of success, wealth and status, the top villa represents people's desire for material life. It is the foundation of the culture context and the starting oint of the legacy with non-renewable resources, mature commercial services, the exclusive supporting system, humanized requirement and technology concern. nder the kind invitation of Huazhong University of Science & Technology Press, I am honored to preface for the book Blooming Villas, hoping o inspire the young designers and show directions for the students, sharing the experience with readers.
The origins of geomantic omen in China can be traced back to the original human hunting period, then the human already knew to choose apricus caves as the dwelling lace. In the period of ancient Fuxi, it appeared "figure in Yellow River, book in Luo River" legend, Fuxi accordingly evolved it into the Eight Diagrams, gradually turned it into The Book of Changes. In Qin dynasty there appeared the ideas of Geographical Position and King's spirit so that the First Emperor of Qin built magnificent tomb for himself, including the unearthed terracotta warriors. In Wei and Jin period there appeared the masters of geomantic omen such as Guan Luo and Guo Pu with books like Guan Shi Geography Guidance and Burial Books. In Tang dynasty, geomantic omen was divided into two factions, that is, the situation and regulating vital energy which also merge together. During the Ming and Qing period, eomantic art obtained great development, many masters and books emerged in endlessly...
Nowadays, geomantic omen has been spreaded to the world. There are 17 universities in America opening the relative courses, including the most famous Berkeley University in California. In Japan, there are 110 universities offering geomantic omen courses. The upsurge runs through many countries such as Spain, Australia, Singapore, Thailand, Malaysia. The geomantic omen in Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan is always very popular. I started my world tour academic speech activities at the return of Hong Kong in 1997. I have given over 100 lectures at home and abroad. The active audience impressed me, among them there are designers, architects, developers, lawyers, brand suppliers and so on.
With the development of reform and open up, under the background of the social and political environment and academic atmosphere, plenty of geomancy learners appear for people require a more qualified living environment. However, under the right conditions, it is not responsible for people to completely deny or accept the geomantic omen. In recent years, I have heard from many readers who give a high evaluation to my academic views and expecting better works from me. Now I share my experience in geomancy villa design with readers.
Different with the common residence, the villa is easier to be influenced by the surroundings. Therefore, it is necessary to judge the geomancy of the villa in the respect of inside and outside environment. By and large, the outside environment influences the geomancy of the villa more greatly than the inside environment. Therefore, lighting, greening and wellspring are the basic elements in the surroundings when choosing villas. On this basis, the interior structure needs to be analyzed to select the most suitable villa.
The geomancy theory concludes the natural laws such as the relative astronomy, meteorology, geography knowledge and life experience. It is said that the geographica lenvironment such as fronting water with hills on the back and southern exposure are good for the resident's health and wealth. The shape also plays a role in the fortune of the owner, among which the square villa is the best, magnificent and restrained. The rectangular villa is regular and suitable for everyone. Without sharp edges and corners, the circular villa represents reunion which is also operable.
The living room is the place for meeting and entertainment, the main activity space for the family. Therefore, it would better be set in the center of the villa and should be the largest area in the space. Besides, it needs more light and ventilation to benefit the family.
Because of the large area, most of bedrooms in the villa are designed larger than that of the common residende. Living in the large bedroom will consume human's energy, immune system decline, even illness. Therefore, the bedroom should not be much too large, from 20 to 30 square meters will be better. The quadrate shape is the basic element for the bedroom which can't be polygon. If the loft is used as the bedroom, the hypotenuse in the roof is easy to mislead people visually to burden people, resulting in illness or accident. Therefore, The loft is suggested to be used as the study or the storage room.
Genarally, the villa has two floors or above, therefore, we should take the whole layout into consideration, especially the design of the bathroom. In the geomantic omen, the upper level and the below level have a close relationship. Every level will set a single bathroom. The upper bathroom cannot above the below bedroom, for it will introduce the bad things to the below bedroom to harm the health and luck of the resident. Further more, the stairs are regarded as the key place of vent, not only acting as the passage but also influencing the resident's fortune. The stairs should lean against the wall to avoid dividing the open space, resulting in visual and psychology trouble.
The garage should be designed to meet the rules of convience, watertightness, ventilation and avoid environment pollution. Besides, the garage should not be designed under the bedroom, especially the same side with the window or balcony of the bedroom. The waste gas will enter the room to harm people's health and wealth. To diminish the harm of the waste gas, more trees such as pines should be planted in the entrance of the garage.
Many villas will build the rockwork and fountain to beautify the environment while this is not a good choice for the entrance of the villa. The best places are both sides on the door far away from the house so that people cannot hear the sound of the fountain.
The water is characterized by Yin with a heavy humidity. It is necessary to pay attention to the swimming pool's setting. The swimming pool can't be set too close to the house, which will increase the humidity which is bad for the resident. Besides, the swimming pool can be curved to embrace the house visually, letting the owner see the swimming pool once opening the window, taking advantage of the swimming pool's energy.
After years' pratice reserch, I find that it is using the nature environment and superiority to initiatively plan the house that benefits not only the resident's health but also the family's fortune. Here I want to appreciate my clients who allow me to study and practice in their residences. In a word, as a multidisciplinary subject, villa geomancy design has a close relationship with other subjects. It is a strick task to perfect this subject over time to meet human's requirement. Finally, looking forward to readers' correction for my limitation.

頂級別墅作為成功、財富、地位的象徵，代表了人們對物質生活的最高追求。它擁有不可再生的稀缺資源、成熟的商業服務、專屬的配套體系、人性化的需求及科技關懷，是文脈的根基，傳世的起點。受華中科技大學出版社的盛情邀請，筆者非常榮幸能為《臻藏美墅》作序，希望通過筆者在風水設計方面的實踐，既能為年輕設計師傳授經驗，又能給設計類學生指引方向。在此拋磚引玉，與有緣人共勉。
中國風水的起源，可以追溯到原始人類的狩獵時期，那時的人類就已經懂得選擇避風、向陽的洞穴作為居所；上古伏羲氏時，出現了“河出圖，洛出書”的傳說，伏羲依此而演變成八卦，後逐漸演變成《易經》；秦朝時有了地脈和王氣觀念，秦始皇給自己修建了宏偉的陵墓，現代出土的兵馬俑只是其中的一部分；魏晉時期出現了像管駱、郭璞這樣的風水宗師，有《管氏地理指蒙》《葬書》等典籍問世；唐代，風水分為形勢和理氣兩大派別，兩派之間既相互碰撞又相互融合；明清時期風水學得到了極大的發展，各派別人物和典籍層出不窮……
而今，中國的風水學已被傳播到世界各國，美國目前已有17 所大學開設風水學課程，其中包括加利福尼亞州最著名的伯克利大學。日本已有110 所大學開設風水學課程，韓國更是不計其數，西班牙、澳大利亞、新加坡、泰國、馬來西亞等國家均掀起一股風水學熱潮。香港、澳門、台灣地區的風水學一直倍受青睞，筆者正是1997 年香港回歸之時開始世界巡迴學術演講活動的，目前在國內外的演講已超過100 場，讓筆者感觸最深的是港澳台地區聽眾的活躍，他們當中有設計師、建築師、地產商、律師、品牌供應商等。
隨著改革開放的不斷深入，國內的社會環境、學術氣氛得到進一步改善，人們對居住環境的要求不斷提高，因此湧現出一大批風水學者。但是，在當前形勢下，對風水學抱著簡單的全盤繼承或全盤否定的態度都是一種不科學、不負責的態度。近年來，筆者收到了大量國內外讀者的來電、來函，對筆者主張的學術觀點給予很高的評價，並期待筆者有更多更好的作品呈現，現將別墅設計方面的經驗整理出來，以饗讀者。
別墅與普通住宅不同，它更容易受到周圍環境的影響。因此，在衡量別墅的風水時，必須從內環境和外環境兩個方面進行判斷。總的來說，外環境對別墅風水的影響大於內環境。因此，在選擇別墅時，應重點考察周圍的環境，採光、綠化和水源是最基本的元素。在此基礎上再進一步分析別墅的內部結構，選擇最利於宅主運勢的別墅。
風水學理論總結了與建築相關的天文、氣象、地理等自然規律和相應的知識與生活經驗，其認為背山面水、坐北朝南的地理環境符合別墅最佳選址的條件，也最利於財氣的聚集與居住者的身心健康。別墅的形狀對宅主的運勢也會產生影響，正方形的別墅穩重大氣，是最佳的選擇。長方形的別墅中規中矩，適合所有人。圓形的別墅，由於沒有尖銳的稜角，象徵著團圓與吉祥，也是可以使用的。
客廳是家人聚會和接待賓客的地方，是家庭的主要活動空間，所以其位置最好處於別墅的中心，而且從面積上來講，應是整棟別墅中空間最大的。並且客廳需要有充足的採光與良好的通風，只有這樣才能用充足的陽氣帶動家運的旺盛。
由於別墅面積較大，大多數別墅的臥室都設計得比普通住宅的臥室大得多。其實，長期居住在面積較大的臥室中，人體的能量相對來講會消耗得更多，也更容易出現精神不佳、免疫力下降等狀況，嚴重者還會出現疾病。因此，別墅的臥室不可盲目求大，最好控制在20~30 平方米。形狀方正是臥室最基本的要求，不能是多邊形或是有斜邊出現。如果將閣樓作為臥室，屋頂的斜邊很容易造成視覺上的錯覺，而由此斜邊構成的多邊形臥室，也會使人的精神負擔增加，容易發生疾病或意外。所以，如果想有效利用別墅的閣樓，建議用來做書房或儲物間。
別墅一般有兩層或兩層以上，因此，在進行房屋功能規劃以及裝修時，不能單一地考慮每一層的設計，而應該綜合考慮整棟別墅的格局，尤其是衛生間的設計。在風水學中，上下兩層樓之間有著密切的聯繫。一般別墅的每層都會設有單獨的衛生間。此時就必須要注意，上一層的衛生間最好不位於下一層的臥室之上，這樣會導致樓上的污穢之氣流散到樓下的臥室中，從而影響到居住者的健康和運勢。再者，樓梯被視為別墅中解氣和送氣的關鍵之處。因此，別墅樓梯不僅是上下樓之間的通道，更關係著宅主的運勢。在設定樓梯時，要儘量選擇靠牆的位置，如果將樓梯設定於一樓房屋的正中央，這樣不僅打破了空間格局，使空間一分為二，還使房屋的空闊感頓失，造成視覺和心理障礙。
在設計別墅車庫時，首先要滿足宅主進出的方便，其次要注意防水和通風，還需做好清潔工作，防止塵土對環境的污染。另外，車庫最好不要設在臥室下方，尤其是臥室視窗或陽台與車庫位於同一面，這樣廢氣很容易從陽台或窗戶進入室內，影響人的健康，對財運也會有影響。在無法改變位置的情況下，應在車庫出口處多種一些綠色的植物，以減少汽車尾氣的影響。
為了達到美化環境的目的，許多別墅都會建造假山和噴泉，如果選址不對則會帶來很大的影響。一般來說，在別墅的大門口建造帶有噴泉的假山並不是大吉的。如果一定要在此建造，則需建在離大門有一定距離的地方，以在室內聽不到噴泉的聲音為宜。
水，屬陰性，而且濕度相對較大。故游泳池的設定與使用應該極為注意。游泳池不宜距房屋過近，其易增加空氣濕度，影響居住者的身體健康，進而影響氣運。另外游泳池也可設計為曲線形，“8”和葫蘆形泳池最為常見，這樣在視覺上成水環抱房屋狀，也符合面水的選址條件。讓宅主開窗就能看到泳池，以有效利用泳池的風水能量。
筆者通過多年的實踐發現：合理地利用自然環境與自然優勢，能動性地規劃居室布局，不僅有利於居住者的身心健康，而且對家庭運勢也有很重要的影響。在此，我想感謝所有給予我信任的客戶，感謝他們容許我在其居所中進行學習和實踐。總之，別墅風水設計作為一門綜合性學科，與其他學科均有緊密的聯繫，怎樣與時俱進，不斷完善這門學科，為現代社會的人類需求作出更大的貢獻，需要我們共同努力。因筆者水平有限，不妥之處在所難免，望有緣於此書的讀者批評指正。

Because of the large area, most of bedrooms in the villa are designed larger than that of the common residende. Living in the large bedroom will consume human's energy, immune system decline, even illness. Therefore, the bedroom should not be much too large, from 20 to 30 square meters will be better. The quadrate shape is the basic element for the bedroom which can't be polygon. If the loft is used as the bedroom, the hypotenuse in the roof is easy to mislead people visually to burden people, resulting in illness or accident. Therefore, The loft is suggested to be used as the study or the storage room.
Genarally, the villa has two floors or above, therefore, we should take the whole layout into consideration, especially the design of the bathroom. In the geomantic omen, the upper level and the below level have a close relationship. Every level will set a single bathroom. The upper bathroom cannot above the below bedroom, for it will introduce the bad things to the below bedroom to harm the health and luck of the resident. Further more, the stairs are regarded as the key place of vent, not only acting as the passage but also influencing the resident's fortune. The stairs should lean against the wall to avoid dividing the open space, resulting in visual and psychology trouble.
The garage should be designed to meet the rules of convience, watertightness, ventilation and avoid environment pollution. Besides, the garage should not be designed under the bedroom, especially the same side with the window or balcony of the bedroom. The waste gas will enter the room to harm people's health and wealth. To diminish the harm of the waste gas, more trees such as pines should be planted in the entrance of the garage.
Many villas will build the rockwork and fountain to beautify the environment while this is not a good choice for the entrance of the villa. The best places are both sides on the door far away from the house so that people cannot hear the sound of the fountain.
The water is characterized by Yin with a heavy humidity. It is necessary to pay attention to the swimming pool's setting. The swimming pool can't be set too close to the house, which will increase the humidity which is bad for the resident. Besides, the swimming pool can be curved to embrace the house visually, letting the owner see the swimming pool once opening the window, taking advantage of the swimming pool's energy.
After years' pratice reserch, I find that it is using the nature environment and superiority to initiatively plan the house that benefits not only the resident's health but also the family's fortune. Here I want to appreciate my clients who allow me to study and practice in their residences. In a word, as a multidisciplinary subject, villa geomancy design has a close relationship with other subjects. It is a strick task to perfect this subject over time to meet human's requirement. Finally, looking forward to readers' correction for my limitation.

頂級別墅作為成功、財富、地位的象徵，代表了人們對物質生活的最高追求。它擁有不可再生的稀缺資源、成熟的商業服務、專屬的配套體系、人性化的需求及科技關懷，是文脈的根基，傳世的起點。受華中科技大學出版社的盛情邀請，筆者非常榮幸能為《臻藏美墅》作序，希望通過筆者在風水設計方面的實踐，既能為年輕設計師傳授經驗，又能給設計類學生指引方向。在此拋磚引玉，與有緣人共勉。
中國風水的起源，可以追溯到原始人類的狩獵時期，那時的人類就已經懂得選擇避風、向陽的洞穴作為居所；上古伏羲氏時，出現了“河出圖，洛出書”的傳說，伏羲依此而演變成八卦，後逐漸演變成《易經》；秦朝時有了地脈和王氣觀念，秦始皇給自己修建了宏偉的陵墓，現代出土的兵馬俑只是其中的一部分；魏晉時期出現了像管駱、郭璞這樣的風水宗師，有《管氏地理指蒙》《葬書》等典籍問世；唐代，風水分為形勢和理氣兩大派別，兩派之間既相互碰撞又相互融合；明清時期風水學得到了極大的發展，各派別人物和典籍層出不窮……
而今，中國的風水學已被傳播到世界各國，美國目前已有17 所大學開設風水學課程，其中包括加利福尼亞州最著名的伯克利大學。日本已有110 所大學開設風水學課程，韓國更是不計其數，西班牙、澳大利亞、新加坡、泰國、馬來西亞等國家均掀起一股風水學熱潮。香港、澳門、台灣地區的風水學一直倍受青睞，筆者正是1997 年香港回歸之時開始世界巡迴學術演講活動的，目前在國內外的演講已超過100 場，讓筆者感觸最深的是港澳台地區聽眾的活躍，他們當中有設計師、建築師、地產商、律師、品牌供應商等。
隨著改革開放的不斷深入，國內的社會環境、學術氣氛得到進一步改善，人們對居住環境的要求不斷提高，因此湧現出一大批風水學者。但是，在當前形勢下，對風水學抱著簡單的全盤繼承或全盤否定的態度都是一種不科學、不負責的態度。近年來，筆者收到了大量國內外讀者的來電、來函，對筆者主張的學術觀點給予很高的評價，並期待筆者有更多更好的作品呈現，現將別墅設計方面的經驗整理出來，以饗讀者。
別墅與普通住宅不同，它更容易受到周圍環境的影響。因此，在衡量別墅的風水時，必須從內環境和外環境兩個方面進行判斷。總的來說，外環境對別墅風水的影響大於內環境。因此，在選擇別墅時，應重點考察周圍的環境，採光、綠化和水源是最基本的元素。在此基礎上再進一步分析別墅的內部結構，選擇最利於宅主運勢的別墅。
風水學理論總結了與建築相關的天文、氣象、地理等自然規律和相應的知識與生活經驗，其認為背山面水、坐北朝南的地理環境符合別墅最佳選址的條件，也最利於財氣的聚集與居住者的身心健康。別墅的形狀對宅主的運勢也會產生影響，正方形的別墅穩重大氣，是最佳的選擇。長方形的別墅中規中矩，適合所有人。圓形的別墅，由於沒有尖銳的稜角，象徵著團圓與吉祥，也是可以使用的。
客廳是家人聚會和接待賓客的地方，是家庭的主要活動空間，所以其位置最好處於別墅的中心，而且從面積上來講，應是整棟別墅中空間最大的。並且客廳需要有充足的採光與良好的通風，只有這樣才能用充足的陽氣帶動家運的旺盛。
由於別墅面積較大，大多數別墅的臥室都設計得比普通住宅的臥室大得多。其實，長期居住在面積較大的臥室中，人體的能量相對來講會消耗得更多，也更容易出現精神不佳、免疫力下降等狀況，嚴重者還會出現疾病。因此，別墅的臥室不可盲目求大，最好控制在20~30 平方米。形狀方正是臥室最基本的要求，不能是多邊形或是有斜邊出現。如果將閣樓作為臥室，屋頂的斜邊很容易造成視覺上的錯覺，而由此斜邊構成的多邊形臥室，也會使人的精神負擔增加，容易發生疾病或意外。所以，如果想有效利用別墅的閣樓，建議用來做書房或儲物間。
別墅一般有兩層或兩層以上，因此，在進行房屋功能規劃以及裝修時，不能單一地考慮每一層的設計，而應該綜合考慮整棟別墅的格局，尤其是衛生間的設計。在風水學中，上下兩層樓之間有著密切的聯繫。一般別墅的每層都會設有單獨的衛生間。此時就必須要注意，上一層的衛生間最好不位於下一層的臥室之上，這樣會導致樓上的污穢之氣流散到樓下的臥室中，從而影響到居住者的健康和運勢。再者，樓梯被視為別墅中解氣和送氣的關鍵之處。因此，別墅樓梯不僅是上下樓之間的通道，更關係著宅主的運勢。在設定樓梯時，要儘量選擇靠牆的位置，如果將樓梯設定於一樓房屋的正中央，這樣不僅打破了空間格局，使空間一分為二，還使房屋的空闊感頓失，造成視覺和心理障礙。
在設計別墅車庫時，首先要滿足宅主進出的方便，其次要注意防水和通風，還需做好清潔工作，防止塵土對環境的污染。另外，車庫最好不要設在臥室下方，尤其是臥室視窗或陽台與車庫位於同一面，這樣廢氣很容易從陽台或窗戶進入室內，影響人的健康，對財運也會有影響。在無法改變位置的情況下，應在車庫出口處多種一些綠色的植物，以減少汽車尾氣的影響。
為了達到美化環境的目的，許多別墅都會建造假山和噴泉，如果選址不對則會帶來很大的影響。一般來說，在別墅的大門口建造帶有噴泉的假山並不是大吉的。如果一定要在此建造，則需建在離大門有一定距離的地方，以在室內聽不到噴泉的聲音為宜。
水，屬陰性，而且濕度相對較大。故游泳池的設定與使用應該極為注意。游泳池不宜距房屋過近，其易增加空氣濕度，影響居住者的身體健康，進而影響氣運。另外游泳池也可設計為曲線形，“8”和葫蘆形泳池最為常見，這樣在視覺上成水環抱房屋狀，也符合面水的選址條件。讓宅主開窗就能看到泳池，以有效利用泳池的風水能量。
筆者通過多年的實踐發現：合理地利用自然環境與自然優勢，能動性地規劃居室布局，不僅有利於居住者的身心健康，而且對家庭運勢也有很重要的影響。在此，我想感謝所有給予我信任的客戶，感謝他們容許我在其居所中進行學習和實踐。總之，別墅風水設計作為一門綜合性學科，與其他學科均有緊密的聯繫，怎樣與時俱進，不斷完善這門學科，為現代社會的人類需求作出更大的貢獻，需要我們共同努力。因筆者水平有限，不妥之處在所難免，望有緣於此書的讀者批評指正。
