1976年，肯·亞當憑藉《巴里·林登》（Barry Lyndon）首次獲得奧斯卡，1996年則憑藉《瘋狂的喬治王》（Madness of King George），再次站到了奧斯卡領獎台上。另外1956年的《八十天環遊世界》（Around the World in Eighty Days）、1977年的《007之海底城》（The Spy Who Loved Me）和1993年的《亞當斯一家的價值觀》（Addams Family Values），也都讓他獲得了奧斯卡提名。肯·亞當
除了1964年的《007之金手指》（Goldfinger）和1977年的《007之海底城》以外，他還在1962年的《007之諾博士》（Dr. No）、1965年的《007之霹靂彈》（Thunderball）、1967年的《007之雷霆谷》（You Only Live Twice）、1971年的《007之金剛鑽》（Diamonds Are Forever）以及1979年的《007之大破太空城》（Moonraker）擔任美術總監，他也因此被稱作“007設計師”。
