約翰·克羅森（JohnDominicCrossan，1934－），愛爾蘭裔美國人，著名新約聖經學者，耶穌研究會創辦人之一。克羅森出生於愛爾蘭蒂珀雷里。1950年加入天主教聖母忠僕會，後來到美國。1957年受封成為修士。返回愛爾蘭，於1959年獲愛爾蘭國立St.Patrick'sCollegeMaynooth博士學位。又到羅馬PontificalBiblicalInstitute修習聖經語文。1965又在東耶路撒冷EcoleBiblique研究考古學。

約翰·克羅森在伊糠詢戶利諾伊州Mundelein的St.MaryoftheLake神學院教學一年，以及芝加哥的CatholicTheologicalUnion教學一年之後，克羅森決定脫離教士生涯，1969年夏祖兵滲天與羅耀拉大學教授MargaretDagenais結婚，並在1969年秋季加入DePaul大學，開始長達25年的碑全己比較宗教教學生涯。

1985年克羅森與RobertFunk創立了耶穌研究會(JesusSeminar)，號召學者專門研究歷史性耶穌。克羅森主張耶穌是一個猶太犬儒者，施洗約翰的跟隨者，有醫治能力與智慧，教導包納、容忍與解放。
