這是一本能觸及靈魂的佛教人文旅遊讀本，打開這本書，就仿佛打開了塵封千年的佛窟史。如果說北方與中原的石窟寫下了中國上半部石窟史的話，四川，顯然就是下半闋。本書作者踏遍蜀地，以大量獨家、精美、珍稀的攝影照片展現了四川石刻佛像的獨特魅力，以及巴山蜀水天人合一的佛國寧逸，也讓讀者知曉了這些佛窟背後令人唏噓的歷史。書中，目之所及是法相莊嚴的各式佛像，我們的耳畔仿佛迴蕩起低聲吟唱的梵樂，頓時忘卻塵世的喧囂。在盡情感受藝術的薰陶同時，我們的心靈深處似乎也得到洗禮。
作者簡介
蕭易，1983年生於江蘇揚州，2005年畢業於四川大學中文系，現供職於成都日報社副刊部，出版有《金沙》《古蜀國旁白》《縱目神時代》等著作，《中國國家地理》專題撰稿人，《中國科學探險》《看歷史》等雜誌專欄撰稿人。2011年，《看歷史》雜誌將其專欄選編成《古城往事》一書。
袁蓉蓀，四川教育學院美術系畢業，中國攝影家協會會員，四川省美術家協會會員，《中國國家地理》簽約攝影師。攝影作品入選第18屆、19屆和21屆全國攝影藝術展、曾獲“富士膠捲杯”全國攝影百佳、柯達杯《中國攝影》99年度專業反轉片優秀攝影師提名、全國抗震救災優秀攝影家、獲得全國及四川攝影展覽金獎、銀獎；攝影作品在《中國攝影》、《攝影世界》、《中國國家地理》、香港《中國旅遊》畫報、《攝影之友》、《民族畫報》、《中國科學探險》等主流刊物發表；四川人民出版社出版個人專著《雲朵上的羌紅》畫冊。1989年在四川教育學院美術陳列館舉辦攝影個人作品展，1991年在四川省展覽館舉辦“六隻眼”攝影六人聯展。
