《研究生英語核心教材:綜合教程(下)》是為研究生公共英語課程編寫的教材。《研究生英語核心教材:綜合教程(下)》共分十個單元，各個單元之間題材與體材儘量不一，但每個單元都由三篇同一個主題的文章組成。每單元的第一篇，設計了一系列基於課文以及由課文進一步延伸的問題。隨後的兩篇同一主題的泛讀文章為第一篇的問題提供不同的觀點與視角，以利於論題做更深入和廣泛的討論，因此也可視為第一篇的有機組成部分。
