細菌耐藥問題一直是困擾醫院臨床的一大難題,“超級細菌”的不斷出現更是引起公眾的極大恐慌,成為全球普遍關注的公共安全問題。2014年,世界衛生組織(WHO)發布全球細菌耐藥監測報告顯示:2013年全球直接死於耐藥細菌感染的人數超過100萬人。鑒於細菌耐藥問題的嚴重性,2015年-2016年美英和我國等多國政府相繼發布《遏制細菌耐藥國家行動計畫》,2016年9月二十國集團領導人杭州峰會和聯合國大會專門就細菌耐藥問題發布聯合公報和舉行高級別會議,旨在透過全球的共同努力有效解決細菌耐藥問題。

田國寶,博士,博士生、碩士生導師,中山大學“百人計畫”人才,中山大學中山醫學院教授。一直從事細菌耐藥機制研究,重點致力於臨床“最後一線”藥物多粘菌素和臨床使用最廣的β-內醯胺類藥物的耐藥分子機制研究。研究成果先後在Lancet Infectious Diseases,Emerging Infectious Diseases,Antimicrobial Agents and Chemotherapy,Journal of Antimicrobial Chemotherapy等本領域國際頂尖和主流期刊上發表SCI論文32篇,其中第一和通訊作者論文18篇,參編專著1部,以第一發明人申請6項專利。主持和作為核心骨幹參與包括國家自然科學基金、國家重點研發計畫等基金12項。併入選廣東省自然科學傑出青年基金、“廣東特支計畫”百千萬工程青年拔尖人才、廣州市珠江科技新星、高等院校“千百十工程”第七批培養對象、高校基本科研業務費青年教師重點培育等人才項目。
