個人經歷
出生在古巴,但成長在加拉加斯,委內瑞拉,瑪利亞·肯奇塔·阿龍索在1971年世界妙齡小姐的冠軍。1975年以委內瑞拉小姐競爭世界小姐進入了前七名。在拉丁美洲,非常受歡迎的女演員。出演不少肥皂劇和參與多部委內瑞拉的電影主演。
她也是一個流行歌手,得到三次葛萊美獎提名。1982年,她移居美國,並於1984年製作了首部好萊塢電影 Paul Mazursky's Moscow on the Hudson(1984),劇中是Robin Williams(羅賓·威廉士)的對頭。
1995年她飾演有百老匯製作的“極光/蜘蛛女人”的"Kiss of the Spider Woman"《蜘蛛女之吻》使她成為南美洲首位好來塢女明星。
