漳州雙語實驗學校

漳州外國語學校(漳州實驗中學分校),原名漳州雙語實驗學校,是經教育主管部門批准,由廈門廈成房地產公司投資創辦,是集國小教育、初高中教育為一體的全日制民辦寄宿學校;是福建師範大學外國語學院在漳州地區設立的唯一的英語教學課改實驗基地;同時也是薌城區人民政府重點工程之一。現已更名為漳州外國語學校(漳州實驗中學分校)。

學校簡介

學校坐落在美麗的九龍江畔漳州高校園區內,占地面積110畝,建築面積65956平方米,總投資額為一億元,按省一級達標學校標準建校。現有70個班級,在校生人數達3500人。學校建有功能齊全的教學樓、行政辦公樓、圖書館大樓、教工、學生公寓樓;擁有高標準的理化生實驗室、多媒體語音室、互動式多媒體電視教學系統、校園網路系統、電子圖書閱覽室、多功能學術報告廳、音樂室、美術室、舞蹈室等先進教學設施。校園布局嚴謹合理,各項服務功能齊全。校園內有集中綠地、庭院綠化、草坪等,綠地率達48.3%,環境十分幽雅、恬靜。

漳州外國語學校採取“雙語”教學,力求把東西方文化教育精華融合在一起,以全面提高學生素質和充分發展學生個性為目的,著眼於社會發展和學生自身發展的需求,讓每個學生都能受到最優良的教育。我校大力開展特色教育,形成“聽說領先,情景交融”的母語化英語教育特色,努力營造濃烈的外語學習氛圍,大力開展校園外語交際活動和課外閱讀活動,發展外語特色,充分利用少年兒童學習語言的最佳年齡段,結合最佳的課改教材,力爭學生高中畢業時,能用英語進行完全的聽說讀寫等方面的交流。我校從國小一年級就開始開設計算機課,形成計算機課程教學特色,推進信息技術在各科教學的套用,使孩子贏在起跑線上。

師資水平

漳州外國語學校匯聚了一批高素質的優秀教師,他們是從全國幾百個應聘教師中通過層層嚴格篩選,脫穎而出的。至今,全校教職員工人數450人,其中,教師196人,生活教師80人,後勤保障工作人員165多人。中學教師學歷全都達到本科以上水平,國小教師也全都達到專科以上水平。其中許多還是省、市骨幹教師、優秀教師,學科帶頭人,優秀班主任等。他們具有良好的師德修養,較高的專業業務水平。

investment of Xiacheng Real Estate Development Company, Ltd of

Xiamen. As the only field school in Zhangzhou established by the
Foreign Languages Institute of Fujian Normal University, it provides
the education of primary school, junior middle school and senior
high school. Meanwhile, it is one of the priority projects of

Xiangcheng District People’s Government.
The school is located in Zhangzhou College District, on the bank of
JiuLong River. It occupies an area of 110 mu, of which, the building
area is 65,956 square meters. With the total investment of 100
million yuan, it is founded to the standard of first-level schools
in Fujian Province. There are 70 classes in all and the number of
students is 3500. There are multiple-functional teaching buildings,
an administrative building, a library and apartments for teachers
and students in the school. The school has high-standard
laboratories of physics, chemistry and biology, multimedia language
labs, an interactive multimedia instructional system, a network
system, electronic reading rooms, multi-funtional academic halls,
music rooms, art rooms, dancing halls and so on. All of the teaching
facilities are advanced. The overall arrangement in the campus is
rigorous and rational with extensive functions. The campus has
centralized green land, afforested courtyard, lawns and so on. The
green area ratio reaches 48.3% and the surroundings are beautiful
and quiet.
“Bilingual teaching methods” are adopted by this school. The
teachers here are trying to combine both oriental and occidental
culture to improve the students’ quality and to develop the
students’ personalities so as to meet the demands of social
development and the students’ own growth. Their purpose is to
provide good education for the students in this school. They are
also trying to carry out characteristic education “listening and
speaking go first and teaching English in real situations.” The
teachers and students here work together to create English—studying
atmosphere. Meanwhile, they try to speak in English when
communicating with others on the campus and organize after—school
reading activities in order to form English characteristics. The
teachers are making good use of teenagers’ best age of learning
languages as well as the best textbooks to make their students be
able to communicate well in English. The teaching of computer for
students in Grade One, primary school facilitates the use of
computer technology in every subject. The goal is to let the
students have advantage from the beginning.
The teachers here are excellent. They all are strictly selected from
hundreds of teacher interviewees through China. So far, there are
450 staff members. Among them, 196 ones are teachers; 80 ones are
life teachers and 165 ones are logistical members. All the teachers
of middle school have got bachelor degree or higher degree and the
teachers of primary school have got associate degree or higher
degree. Most of them have much teaching experience.
