15歳が終わろうとしていた春、彼は親戚の叔母さんがゴミ舍て場から拾ってきたギターを貰い、オリジナル曲を作り始める。
16歳の夏、対バン相手から「自主製作音源はないんですか？」と訊かれ、自主製作でCDが作れることを初めて知る。バイトで稼いだ7萬円で製作した音源は、後にたくさんの業界関系者の耳に留まり、彼の人生を変えていくことになる。
17歳の夏、全國高校生バンド選手権「TEENS ROCK IN HITACHINAKA 2006」に出場し、見事グランプリを受賞、副賞として同年のROCK IN JAPAN FESへの出場を果たす。
18歳の誕生日の2日前、初めて東京でライブを行う。噂を聞きつけた20社以上の音楽関系者が詰めかけ、彼をめぐっての爭奪戦が白熱する。
18歳の冬、高校を自主退學。音楽家として生きていくことを決意する。
ほどなくして映畫「仆の彼女はサイボーグ」への挿入歌の依頼が舞い込む。彼のデモテープを聴いたクァク・ジョヨン監督（「猟奇的な彼女」）自身からの異例とも言えるオファーであった。
19歳の誕生日を迎えてすぐ、本格的なレコーディングを開始。
そして10代最後の春、デビュー。
いよいよ彼の音楽が響き始める。

新單曲《Morning Sun》由Celine Dion和Chaka Khan的製作人Tom Keane親自操刀，Tom Keane稱讚道，已經跟不少日本藝人合作過，清竜人是自己由衷地想合作的一位。
2008年，原創歌曲《send》作為電影《仆の彼女はサイボーグ》即《我的女友是機器人》中的插曲，讓人印象深刻，獨具磁性的嗓音讓許多海外歌迷記住了他的名字。
