彼得總是傻傻的可愛說著他的家庭：他的妻子是一個沉溺於寶貝兒子的調皮的樂趣之中，每天她都在構想怎么去控制她那一歲的兒子，一歲等等布賴恩天生就是一個搗蛋鬼，他會想出很多辦法做出讓他父母生氣驚訝的事情，還有一隻會要熱狗的狗狗組成了這樣一個荒謬的家庭喜劇！ 邁克-巴克和馬特-維特茲曼是動畫系列《惡搞之家》(Family Guy)的作者,他們還共同創作了福克斯的動畫系列《美國老爹》(American Dad),而且是該片的執行製作人。 Sick, twisted, politcially incorrect and freakin' sweet, the animated series features the adventures of the Griffin family. Peter and Lois have three kids - the youngest is a brilliant, sadistic baby bent on killing his mother and destroying the world. Their talking dog Brian keeps baby Stewie in check while sipping martinis and sorting through his own life issues. After being cancelled in 2002, an outstanding performance in DVD sales proved its cult value. As a result, the series was added back to the FOX Summer 2005 lineup. Family Guy returned to the small screen with new episodes on Sunday, May 1st, 2005.
劇情介紹
《惡搞之家》是部無厘頭風格的戲劇卡通片，其以生活在羅得島虛構的Quahog市的格里芬（Griffin）一家為故事主線，大量運用閃回手法（以不同鏡頭穿插於故事主線之中）。該劇曾於2000年、2002年兩次被福克斯公司取消播映，但考慮到DVD發售的驕人成績和在Cartoon Network的Adult Swim重播的高收視率，福克斯公司決定在2005年恢復播出。曾經被取消播出的《居家男人》是第一部因為DVD發售業績而重新上映的卡通片。其亦是唯一因此原因而二度重播的卡通片
