Freddy Rodríguez 出生於1975年1月17日在芝加哥伊利諾斯州的波多黎各，其家庭成員：身為家庭主婦的母親和一個看門人的父親。當他13歲時，他被城內的一家戲劇表演藝術家發現並挖掘發現進而開始了他在芝加哥國際Pulaski大學進修學習的機會並在那裡開始了他的演藝生涯，在林肯公園高中他獲得了大量的出演機會，包括 "To Kill a Mockingbird", "Twelve Angry Men", "The Crucible", "A Midsummers Night's Dream" and "The Lottery."
