"本片由Earl Mac Rauch編劇，W.D. Richter出任導演，講述一個幾乎全能的人崩贊，在他那些無畏的朋友們的幫助下，成功阻止外星人入侵的故事。影片裡那輛噴氣式汽車（據稱是1982年福特F-350的改裝品）事實上確實安裝了從北約駐英格爾伍德基地借來的渦輪增壓機。Jamie Lee Curtis飾演了Buckaroo倒敘里的媽媽，不過這場戲被切掉了。這場戲在近來的DVD里得以重現，不過要么是可有可無的前片，要么乾脆是宣傳片。影片中的道具震動翻轉儀（""oscillation overthruster""）被作為幽靈分析儀（""spectral analyzer""）在影片中再次使用。"
