塔希提語

塔希提語（英語：Tahitian / 塔希提語：te reo tahiti）屬於南島語系，印度尼西亞語族，玻里尼西亞語支；

主要分布在南太平洋、法屬玻里尼西亞群島，

與其比較相似的語言有台灣的泰雅語（屬於高山語支），爪哇語（印尼語支），夏威夷語（玻里尼西亞語支）等。

該語語音系統非常簡單，輔音有清音與濁音的對立，元音較少，複合元音少見。
