清華大學公共管理學院副教授，清華大學國情研究院副研究員，多倫多大學訪問學者，曾經是中國社會科學院數量經濟與技術經濟研究所副研究員，經濟系統分析室副主任。從事數量經濟學、發展經濟學、教育與人力資本方面學術研究。主持國家自然科學基金、教育部人文社科基金、中國博士後基金和部委有關人口老齡化、基礎設施與經濟發展等方面的課題研究30餘項。出版基礎設施與經濟發展、人口老齡化方面的專著。在"Journal of Human Resources"、"Econometrics Journal"、"Journal Of Comparative Economics"、 "World Development"、《經濟研究》、《世界經濟》、《中國工業經濟》等國內外學術期刊發表80餘篇。
擔任國內經濟學期刊《經濟研究》《管理世界》《經濟學季刊》《世界經濟》《數量經濟技術經濟研究》《中國農村經濟》《中國工業經濟》等和國際經濟學雜誌"Singapore Economic Review"、"Economic Modeling"、"Applied Economics"等匿名評審專家。
